Obituary
On Sunday, September 18, 2022, Troy Beaver 55, of Town Creek passed away from a heart attack at his residence. The visitation will be held at Jackson Memory Funeral Home, Thursday, September 22, 2022 at 11:00 AM directly followed by the funeral service at Noon. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
Troy was born on November 7, 1955 to Lilbern and Mildred (Mme Jo) Beaver. He graduated High School and was a recent student at Northwest-Shoals Community College.
At a young age, Troy developed a love and talent for music. He played the piano, guitar, harp, dulcimer, and any instrument he picked up. He also had a natural ability for carpentry, and "tinkering" on anything with a motor.
Troy is survived by his parents, his beloved daughters, Lara Grisham and Amy Rutherford, his grandsons, Kaden Rutherford and Mason Grisham, his sister, Caroline (David) Weems, three nephews, the mothers of his children, Pam Garner (Amy) and Lisa Beaver (Lara), his former spouse and friend, Shari Koyak, and his affectionate dog "Moe".
He will be remembered as a man with a quick wit who was outspoken in his beliefs and who showed kindness and compassion to everyone he met.
