Terry Jones, 66, of Town Creek died Saturday October 10, 2020. There will be a graveside service at Jones Cemetery Thursday, October 15, 2020 at 11:00 am. Public viewing will be Wednesday from 10-6 at Jackson Memory.

Mr. Terry L. Jones, Sr. 66 of Town Creek, AL departed this life on October 10, 2020

at Helen Keller Hospital in Sheffield, AL. He was a 1973 graduate of Hazlewood High School in Town Creek, AL. He retired from Dunlop Tire with 25 years of service. He confessed his belief in Christ at an early age and joined First Missionary Baptist Church, Town Creek, AL then later joined Little Star CPCA under the leadership of Pastor James Miller.

He was preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Louise Jones and his siblings Arthur Jones, Jr., Katcine E. Jones, and Jerry Wayne Jones.

Terry leaves to cherish his memory a loving and devoted wife, Mrs. Beverly Gail Jones; two loving children; Ms. Tonika Jones and Mr. Terry L. Jones, Jr., (Charla) both of Town Creek, AL: four loving grandchildren, Blake, Camden, Londen and Dash; three brothers Thomas E. Jones (Bernadine) of Muscle Shoals, AL, Kenneth Jones (Jackie) of Dayton, OH and Dale Payne (Cora) of Trinity, AL; four sisters, Glenda Aldridge (Michael) of Trinity, AL, Harriet Crayton (Adam) of Decatur, AL, Shirley Woods of Town Creek, AL and Linda Johnson (Lonnie) of Cleveland, OH: a loving mother-in-law, Mrs. Callie Wilson of Town Creek, AL; three sisters-in-law, Ruby Jones of Town Creek, AL, Dedra Cole (Robert) of Sheffield, AL, and Till Cole of Starkville, MS: six brothers-in-law, Thomas Savage (Lois) of Courtland, AL, Wendell Savage (Veronica) of Leighton, AL, Dwight Savage of Athens, AL, Derrick Wilson (Roxanne) of Decatur, AL, Ivory Wilson of Town Creek, AL, and Edward Cole (Leah) of Elon, NC: one uncle, Ulyess Williams (Marie) of Town Creek, AL. Devoted cousin, Frankie “Plum” Jones; devoted friends, Ronnest “Peter” Cosby, and Patrick Carter. A host of nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends.
