Susie Gwen Halbrooks

Susie Halbrooks, 71, of Town Creek passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2024. Funeral arrangements are as followed: Visitation at Jackson Memory Funeral Home Friday, June 14, 2024 from 10:30 am-12:00 pm directly followed by the funeral service. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.

Susie Gwen Halbrooks was a lovely, vibrant lady who left this earthly realm on June 12, 2024. Like her mother before her she cherished her friends, family an especially her grandchildren with every fiber of her being. Her overflowing love was best expressed through her cooking, which she viewed as her ministry. She leaves a legacy of love, compassion, and understanding which will be deeply missed by all. Susie was a member of Corinth Missionary Baptist Church until her death.

She is preceded in death by her father and mother, Kermit and Gwendolyn Jones, and a sister, Patricia Gail Hubbert.

Survivors include; husband, Rickey Hubbert, a daughter Tammy Jones(Dana), sons Chad Halbrooks, and Ashley Hubbert; grandchildren, Calley Halbrooks, Bryson Halbrooks, a great grandson Macaffe " Mac" Turner, and one brother Mike Jones (Connie).
