Robert Bolling Jr. 69 of North Courtland died Nov 13 at Decatur General Hospital. His funeral will be Saturday, November 17, at 12 PM, at Wheeler Chapel Full Gospel Church in Courtland. The body will be placed in the chruch one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery in Decatur. Public Viewing will be Thursday and Friday here at Jackson Memory Funeral Home from 10 AM to 6 PM.
Robert “Po” Bolling Jr. was born November 11, 1949, in Town Creek, Alabama to the late
Robert Bolling Sr. and the late Mae Ella McGuire. He departed this life on November 13,
2018 at Decatur Morgan Hospital.
Robert acknowledged his belief in Christ at an early age and later joined First Missionary
Baptist Church in Hillsboro, Alabama and remained a faithful member until his health
failed.
He is preceded in death by his parents Robert Bolling Sr. and Mae Ella McGuire, three
sisters; Martha Bolding, Frances Bibbs, and Rosie Bolding, one brothers; Richard Bolding,
and two daughters; Chanetta Dillard and Latisha Willard.
Robert leaves to cherish his memories; his loving and devoted wife, Stella Willard; three
daughters, Linda Roberson, Audrea Morrow and Devon Jackson (Tewayne); two sons,
Gregory Willard (Teresa), and Marcus Willard; three sisters, Stella Ray, Alice Mangrum, and
Betty Bolding; two brothers, Leo Bolding (Loreen) and, Milton Bolding (Cheryl); one aunt,
Alice Robinson; two devoted grandsons, Reun Orr (Destiny) and, Gregory Willard Jr. Other
grandchildren, great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends
