Mary Martha (Allen) Douglas

Mary Martha Douglas, 71, of Wheatcroft Kentucky, formerly of Town Creek died February 12, 2022. There will be a graveside service at 1:00 pm, February 16, 2022 at Jones Cemetery. Jackson Memory funeral home is assisting the family. 

                           Obituary

Mary Martha Douglas, was born April 2, 1950 in Town Creek, AL. She was a coal minor and retired from Island Creek Coal. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Clay, KY.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Melvin Douglas, Sr. in 2012, two granddaughters Keyleigh and Saria Douglas in 2004 and a brother, James Allen.

Survivors include; one daughter, Shirley Miller, and one son Melvin Douglas, Jr. "Joe Joe" both of Wheatcroft, KY, three sisters Essie Lawrence, Courtland, AL, Nebo King of Sturgis, Yvonne Culprson of Chattanooga, TN, two brothers Richard Allen and Frank King both of Town Creek, AL. four grandchildren Faith Miller, Feather Miller, Filana Miller, Derrick Douglas, and three great-grandchildren Devontae, Kemaria, and Bryson Douglas.
