Marvline (Reid) Mason

Marvline Mason the third eldest of eight children was born in Lawrence County, Alabama on September 27, 1935 to the late Miller and Mary Reed. 

She accepted Jesus as her personal savior at an early age while in Lawrence County. She met the late Paul Mason where she later united in Holy Matrimony. 

Marvline became a member of Mt Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Town Creek, Alabama at an early age and later joinced the Mt. Zion Senior Choir. She also enjoyed fishing, cooking, coloring, singing, and dancing. 

Marvline was preceded in death by her parents; her devoted husband, Paul Mason; a son Miller Oneal Mason, Grandson Coury Scruggs, and her loving sisters Mattie Cooper, and Carrie Bee Lynch. 

Marvline is survived by her children; Paul Mason(Shirley) of Decatur, AL, Robert Mason(Ann) of Decatur, AL, Brenda Napier(James) of Courtland, AL, Carolyn Langham(Steve) of Town Creek, AL, Billy Mason of Decatur, AL, Mary Clark(James) of Athens, AL, Leroy Mason(Liz) of Hartselle, AL, Also here sister and brother; Frank Reid(Vanessa) of Long Beach CA, George Robinson(Ruby) of Louisville, KY, Deacon Carl Reid(Minister Lela Reid) of Hillsboro, AL, Ella Jones(Mose ,Jr.) of Town Creek, AL, Lynda Hullett(Charles) of Jacksonville, FL, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. 

She also leaves to cherish her memory special friends; Sarah Steels, Shirley Davis, Diana McDaniel, Tracy Austin, Joe Daniel Swoopes, and Annette Orr.
