Marcus D. Goode Jr., 23, of Tuscaloosa died October 7, 2020. There will a graveside service At New Life Cemetery, Wednesday October 14, 2020 at 1:00 pm. Public viewing will be held at Jackson Memory Funeral Home Monday from 10-6 and Tuesday from 1-6.

Marcus Delano Goode, Jr., was born on October 3, 1997 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He departed this life on October 7, 2020 at his home. He was a fun-loving person and always the life of the party. He was the king of joking around.He attended Austin High School where he excelled in Basketball. He graduated in 2016 and went on to play at Martin Methodist College in Pulaski, TN. He later moved to Tuscaloosa, AL with his longtime girlfriend Diamones. He worked as an electrician. He was a diehard Auburn fan even though everyone else in the family were Alabama fans. He loved his family with his whole heart and had a special spot for his niece Alaina.

Marcus leaves to cherish his memories: His loving mother, Julia McLaurin of Hillsboro, AL; a devoted father, Marcus Goode, Sr. of Harvest AL; two sisters, Marcessa Goode of Hillsboro, AL, and Makayla Goode of San Diego, CA; a special niece, Alaina Hall of Hillsboro, AL; a special friend of nine years, Diamones Spraggins of Tuscaloosa, AL. He also leaves behind a host of uncles, aunts, cousins other relatives, and friends. He was loved by many and will truly be missed.
