Lucy Rose

Lucy Rose, 98, of Tuscumbia, formerly of Town Creek passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2025. Visitation will be held at Jackson Memory Funeral Home, Sunday, August 10, 2025 from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm directly followed by the funeral service at 3:00 pm. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.  

Mrs. Rose was a devoted Christian woman, a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother and sister. She was a bookkeeper for many years. At the age of 80 she worked with her dear friends Jane and Ricky Knouff at the feed store in Town Creek. She loved her church family and all the many friends that she had. She was known as Mama Lucy to all of her friends and family. 

She was preceded in death by: Her husband Oneal Rose; her parents Rufus and Mary Berryman; sisters Betty Menne, Mary McCrary, Carolyn McCormack; brother Jerry Berryman; son Steven " Butch" Patterson; granddaughers Nikki Nesbitt and Heather Weaver.

Survivors Include: Daughter Sandra Norwood of Tuscumbia; Son, Mike (Barbara) Patterson of Muscle Shoals; daughter in law Patricia Patterson of Sheffield; Sister June(Steve) Hannah of Florence; Brothers O'Dwyner Berryman of Rogersville; Billy Berryman of Florence; grandchildren Kim (Tracy) Samuels of Ft Myers, FL, Paula(Joey) Burch of Opelika, Jeff(Bridget) Norwood of Town Creek, Tabatha Richey of Sheffield, Brian Patterson of Knoxville, TN, Blake (Tiffany) Patterson of Moulton, Cody (Jenna) Patterson of Athens; sister in law Brenda Berryman; step granddaughters Lisa Amos of Panama City, FL, and Amanda Cunningham of Winfield; step son Danny Rose of Hillsboro.

With five generations with in the family she is also survived by many great and great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Pallbearers: Tracy Samuels, Joey Burch, Jeff Norwood, , Blake Patterson, Cody Patterson, Jon-Michael Rose,  and Levi Norwood.
