John Wayne Pitts Jr

John Wayne Pitts, Jr. 51, of Town Creek died May 22, 2022. Visitation will be at Jackson Memory Funeral Home, Wednesday May 25, 2022 from 5-7. The funeral will be Thursday, May 26, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Jackson Memory. Burial will follow in West Lawrence Memorial Gardens.

John Wayne was born May 24, 1970 to Johnny and Betty Pitts. He was a cotton ginner at Hillsboro Gin until becoming disabled. He was a family man who loved his family dearly. He was passionate about everything he did in life, and he lived life to the fullest. He loved cars and working on them. He loved helping his neighbors, fishing, and loved being outside. He taught his family many life lessons that we will cherish forever. 

John Wayne leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife Angie Pitts(Town Creek), father, Johnny Pitts(Town Creek), mother, Betty Pitts(Town Creek), two daughters; Brittany Dover (Decatur), Kasi Callahan(Hanceville), one son, Justin Pitts(Town Creek), six grandchildren; Kyli Mears(Town Creek), Breelynn Dover(Decatur), Kash Callahan(Town Creek), Bella Lopez( Somerville), Kovi Cottingham(Trinity), Chloe Brock(Elkmont).
