Elizabeth (Ann) Norton

Elizabeth “Ann” Norton, 72, of Courtland, passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2025.

Ann was born in Lawrence County, Alabama, to Roy and Louise Norton. She was one of nine children and cherished her family and friends deeply.

She was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers; and three sisters.

Ann is survived by her daughter, Marcie (Bill) Doolittle of Muscle Shoals; two granddaughters, Hannah Doolittle of Muscle Shoals and Ashley (Trey) Bowen of Florence; and many special nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

Visitation will be held at Jackson Memory Funeral Home Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by the funeral service. Burial will take place at Courtland Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Barry Norton, Robert Norton, Steven Terry, Trey Bowen, Riley Norton, and Edan Raney.
