Donwaski L Puryear

Donwaski L. Puryear, 37, of Courtland passed away Thursday, August 29th. Public viewing will be held at Jackson Memory, Monday September 2nd from 12:00 - 4:00 pm. The funeral will be at Jackson Memory, Tuesday, September 3rd, at 12:00 pm. Burial will follow in Courtland Cemetery.

Donwaski Loydexter Puryear was born on July 18, 1987 to the late Donnie Loyd Puryear and Burt Ann Puryear. He departed this life on Thursday, August 29, 2024 at Huntsville Hospital. 

Donwaski acknowledged his belief in Christ several years ago at Apostolic House of Praise. He was a hard worker and a devoted father to his children. He was known as a quiet man who didn't bother anyone. His two sisters Chiquita and Tanya described him as a #1 dad, as he always provided financial support, cooked, cleaned, and did laundry for his children. He had a good heart. He valued keeping his siblings close, and had a unbreakable bond and love for his mother.
