Darryll Rasberry, 55, of Madison passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2026. Jackson Memory Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Life Reflections of Darryll Dwyane Rasberry
Our beloved Darryll Dwyane Rasberry was born June 24, 1970, to the late Lucille (Reba) Jiles and the late Rev. Haywood Brazzle in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lucille (Reba) Jiles and Rev. Haywood Brazzle; stepdad, Roger Jiles; father-in-law, Russell D. Willingham, Jr.; and maternal and paternal grandparents.
On March 18, 2026, God called his faithful servant to join his parents, father-in-law, and grandparents in glory.
Darryll professed his faith in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ at an early age. He was baptized at Grace Temple Baptist Church in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, where he sang in the youth choir. He regularly attended Fellowship of Faith in Huntsville, Alabama, pastored by Troy Garner.
Darryll was a 1988 graduate of Pine Bluff High School in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, where he excelled academically. He received a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from North Carolina State University in 1993. He was an active member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. He was currently employed with AFT as the Technical Director for Applications.
On June 29, 1998, he married the love of his life, Tonia Willingham, and they had two beautiful children: a son, Stephen J. Rasberry, and a daughter, Sydney A. Rasberry.
Darryll loved playing golf, traveling, spending quality time with his family, and attending family events. He loved his family and always used his hearty sense of humor to fill the room with laughter.
Darryll Dwyane Rasberry leaves to cherish his memory his devoted and beautiful wife of 27 years, Tonia Rasberry (Madison, AL); one son, Stephen Rasberry (Florence, KY); one daughter, Sydney Rasberry (Birmingham, AL); two sisters, Catina Rasberry-Johnson (Huntsville, AL) and Teresa Cole (Terre Haute, IN); one brother, Eric Rasberry (Trisha) of Little Rock, AR; two brothers-in-law: Christopher Willingham (Sherri) of Madison, AL and Dennis Willingham (Hawthorne, CA); and his favorite mother-in-law, Mae H. Willingham (Town Creek, AL). He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
