Chadric Freeman, 46, of N. Courtland passed away Sunday, January, 4, 2026. Public viewing will be from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm, Thursday, January, 8, 2026 at Jackson Memory Funeral Home. The funeral will be at Jackson Chapel CME Church, Friday, January 9, 2025, at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow in Rocky Hill Cemetery.
Chadric Rae Freeman, also known as “Chaddyboy” and “Chaddy Daddy”, left this world peacefully on January 4th, 2026, at the age of 46 at Helen Keller Hospital.
He was born on April 9th, 1979, in Decatur, AL, to Patricia Dianne Puryear of Courtland, AL, and Billy Ray Freeman of Madison, AL.
Chad had a passion for racing and working on cars and was a die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He attended Courtland High School and earned his GED. He accepted Christ at an early age and joined Jackson Chapel CME Church, Courtland, AL, under the leadership of Rev. Hurley V. Grissom. He had recently rededicated his life.
He is preceded in death by grandparents Melvin and Annie Kate Puryear, and Warnie and Rosie Mae Freeman; and step-grandparent, Grace Alma Puryear.
Chadric leaves to cherish his memories, his loving mother and father. Dianne and Billy Ray; one son, Chase Warren (Taryn)of Florence, AL; three grandchildren, Ivy Warren, Joah Warren, and Jamari Warren; his significant other, Latosia Bates of Leighton, AL; five bonus children, Kingston also known as “Hard-Rock”, Santanya, Laderrius, Maroland, and Demaseyo; one and only loving and devoted sister, Quinashay Freeman-Sanders (Carlus) of Murfreesboro, TN; three brothers, Fredrick C. Freeman (Kimberly)of Leroy, AL, Tevin Freeman of Madison, AL, and Xavier Freeman of Fayetteville, TN: five aunts, Nadine Langham (Roy), Dorothy Garth, Glenda Puryear, Burt Ann Puryear, all of Courtland, AL, and Patricia Shackelford (Fred) of Decatur, AL; five uncles, Leroy Puryear (Linda) of Town Creek, AL, Ronnie Puryear and Carl Edward Puryear of Courtland, AL, Eulis Freeman (Trena) and Gregory Freeman (Vivian)of Decatur, AL; one great aunt, Geadie Suggs of Landersville, AL; ten nieces and nephews, Jakayla, Taylor, Jamie, Jasmine, Fredrick Jr., Ella, Ellis, Trinity, Luka, and Carter: Step-grandparent, Hattie Grace Freeman of Russellville, AL; a special devoted cousin, Rodney Puryear of Courtland, AL; and a host of other relatives and friends.
