Betty Joyce Bolding

Betty Bolding, 61, of Decatur passed away Saturday, April 20, 2024. Public viewing will be held at Jackson Memory, Thursday, April 25, 2024 from 10:00 - 5:00 pm. The funeral will be at Jackson Memory, Friday, April 26, 2024, at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow in Jones cemetery

                                         Obituary

Betty Joyce Bolding was born on December 11, 1962 in Town Creek, AL to the late Robert and Mary Bolding. She departed her life on April 20, 2024 at Decatur Morgan Hospital in Decatur. She was a graduate of Hazelwood High School. She accepted Christ at an early age. 

Betty was preceded in death by her daughter Roxanne Wilson and her son Jesse Bolding; three brothers Rufus Bolding, Richard Bolding, and Robert Bolding, Jr,: four sisters Martha Bolding, Frances Bibbs, Rosie Bolding, and Anna Bell Bolding. 

She leaves to cherish her memories on daughter, Lakesha Bolding of Decatur, Alabama; five grandchildren, Jaquandrick Gholston, Jarmaine Gholston, Derrian Wilson, Derricaa Wilson, and a loving devoted grandson, Jamarian Gholston; one great grand granddaughter Ahliya; two brothers Milton Bolden(Cheryl), Leo Bolding(Claudia); two sisters Stella Ray and Alice Mangrum all of Courtland, AL, a devoted friend Jimmy Vinson, two special friends William Little and Jason Gholston, Sr., and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
