Obituary
Evangelist Alice Robertson was born on March 27, 1928, to the late Ms. Elizabeth King.
She departed this earthly life on Thursday, February 07, 2019 at Decatur Morgan
General Hospital in Decatur AL.
She confessed faith in Christ at an early age and joined
First Missionary Baptist Church in Town Creek, AL and later moved to Columbus, OH,
where she joined Metropolitan Baptist Church and remained a faithful member until
she moved back to Courtland, AL in 1993 to help care for her sick daughter. She later
joined North Courtland Primitive Baptist Church and was a faithful member until her
health started to decline. Evangelist Robertson received her call into the ministry by
God on October 09, 1991.
She was preceded in death by three sons; Percy L. King, Edward J. Simmons, and Tommy
Lee King, one daughter; Helen K. Ricks, one granddaughter, Adriane King, two
grandsons; Preston King, and Harry J. Ricks, one brother; Clyde Roach, three sisters;
Annie Bell, Mary Ellen Bolding and Mae Francis King.
Evangelist Robertson leaves to cherish her memories: four grandsons, Percy Clay King
(Stephanie), Michael Ricks, Tommy Ricks, Corinthian Ricks, (Shannon), one
granddaughter, Shirley Freeman, one stepson, R T Robertson, Jr., twenty-one great
grand kids, a host of niece and nephews a devoted nephew; Milton Bolden, other
relatives and friends. Two devoted friends; Ms. Frankie Woods and Ms. Jean Vinson
both of Courtland, AL.
