Ruby Naomi Jones

Ruby Naomi Jones, 67, of Decatur died Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at North Alabama Medical Center in Florence. The funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at First Missionary Baptist Church in Town Creek. The body will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service. Public viewing will be held here at Jackson Memory Sunday from 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Monday from 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. 

                                   The Obituary

          Ms. Ruby Naomi Jones was born on February 15, 1952 in Lawrence County Alabama. She departed this life on November 20, 2019, at the age of 67. She confessed her faith in Christ at an early age and joined First Missionary Baptist Church in Town Creek, Alabama where she was a member until her death.

          She was preceded in death by her parents Leroy and Anne Mae Almon, brothers Travis “TJ”Almon Sr., Benjamin L. Almon.

          Ruby leaves to cherish her memories, four sons, Anthony Jones of Moulton, AL, Marco (Kristi) Jones of Rogersville, AL, Steven Jones of Moulton, AL, Tevin Jones of Decatur, AL; two daughters, Sheree Jones of Town Creek, AL, Sonia (Perez) Orr of Decatur, AL; two sisters, Curlie Langham, Modean Steward both of Town Creek, AL; two brothers, Otis Almon of Muscle Shoals, AL, Willie (Mary Alice) Almon of Town Creek, AL; six grandchildren, five great children and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
