Otis William Young

Otis William Young 65, of Russelleville died early Thursday morning November 1st. His funeral will be Wednesday at Freeman Tabernacle M.B. in Moulton, at 12PM.  He will be placed in the church 1 hour prior to service.  Burial will follow at Moulton Memory Gardens. Public viewing will be Monday from 10-6 and Tuesday from 10-6 here at Jackson Memory Funeral Home. 

Mr. Otis William Young, son of the late Miss Florence Young and Mr. Melvin Lee was born
April 01, 1953 in Moulton, Alabama. He departed this life Thursday, November 01, 2018.
He attended Moulton High School and then matriculated to Lawrence County High School.
He was a Brick Mason for over 40 years until he became ill. At an early age he professed his
faith and became a member of Freeman Tabernacle Baptist Church. He was preceded in
death by his mother; Florence Young, brothers; Charles Young, and Dewayne Lee, and a
granddaughter, Kiarra Pruitt.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving and caring wife of 43 years, Leslie Young, four
daughters: Lisa Pruitt (Reginald), Allisha Young both of Moulton, AL, Nicole Pruitt (Christy) of
Russellville, AL and LaMyra Brown (Goree) of Decatur, AL, one son; Teddy Dinsmore of
Russellville, AL, two sisters; Debra Young (James) and Dianne Mitchell both of Moulton, AL, two
brothers; Charles Lee of Georgia and Calvin Lee of Moulton, AL, four sisters-in-law, three
brothers-in-law, eleven loving grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, four nieces, four
nephews, two very caring uncles; Bill Lee and Nathaniel Lee, along with a host of other uncles,
aunts, other relatives and friends.
