Donald Ray Madden

Mr. Donald Ray Madden “Donnie” was born August 1, 1960 in Decatur, AL to Clemateen Madden and the late Elijah Allen Jr. Donnie departed this life on May 13, 2019 at Parkway Medical Center. He gave his life to Christ at an early age at Jerusalem Primitive Baptist Church. Donnie was employed at Sexton Can Company for many years until an injury caused him to retire. He was known as “everyone’s mechanic.” He would travel almost anywhere to help anyone who had trouble with their vehicle.
Donnie was preceded in death by one daughter, Khalika Bankhead. He leaves to celebrate his life four daughters, one son & six grandchildren: Chaletha “LeLee” Bankhead, Kristy Bankhead (Shukirah Russell & Kyra Bankhead), Marcus Robinson, Shontay “Tay” Franklin (Montreal & Zaniya Franklin and Londen Nance), Latasha “Moody” Franklin (Ciara Franklin); a loving and devoted mother, Clemateen Madden; six sisters & two brothers: Barbara Banks (Jasper), Phillip Allen (Eloise), Jeanatti Madden, Ola Kate Goode (Larry), Glenda Madden, Elijah Allen III, Mary Thompson (Jeffery), Anita Madden; two aunts & three uncles: Christine Cooper, Darry Madden (Toby), John Cooper, Karen Foster (Donell) and Orrin Cooper (Rosa). He also leaves to celebrate his life many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
