Darnell Louis was born on December 9, 1958 to Johnnie and Margaret Louis (Pope), in Chicago,Il. 

He confessed in Christ at an early age. Over the course of his life, he had the opportunity to live a less restricted life, which in turn gave him the ability to live life freely. He was employed at Johnson Products (for Ultra Sheen) for several years and later went on to become a welder. This choice of work took him to several states including Alabama where he decided to reside.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Johnnie and Margaret Louis (Pope). He leaves to cherish his memory a daughter; LaCreesha, a son; Philip, a grandchild, a nephew, a niece, a great niece a brother, Rickey (Cynthia), one sister; Tordis and special cousin Towana (Toodie) and a host of family and friends.
