Coury Gene Scruggs was born in Morgan County, AL on December 15, 1989 to Mary Clark and Billy Scruggs. He departed this earthly life on Wednesday, January 17, 2018. He accepted Christ as his personal savior at an early age and was a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Town Creek, Alabama.
Coury enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing video games, watching movies, cooking shows, sports, and loved to read the Word of God. It was no secret that Coury was an Alabama Crimson Tide Fan. He was excited to see his team win the 2018 College Football National Championship. Coury had a kind heart and would help anyone in need, if he could. Even in his last days he was still thinking of others and trying to make sure they were ok. He will be greatly missed among his family and friends.
