Annie Pearl Hill, 78, of Hillsboro died Thursday, Sept. 14th at Burns Health & Rehabilitation Hospital in Russellville. Her funeral will be Wednesday, Sept. 20 at Flower Hill Primitive Baptist Church in Hillsboro. Burial will follow in Flower Hill Cemetery. Public viewing will be Monday and Tuesday from 10-6 at here at the funeral home. She will be placed in the church one hour prior to her funeral.

She was born July 13, 1939 in Hillsboro, AL. to the late Joe and Pearlie Bates Hill. She accepted Christ at an early age and joined Flower Hill Primitive Baptist Church in Hillsboro, AL and worshipped there until her health failed. She retired from East Lawrence High School as part of the cafeteria staff.

Annie was preceded in death by her parents as well as her siblings; Roberta, Minnie, Earnest, Ed, Lola, Virginia, Council, Lorine, Geneva, Christine, J.H., Sam, Adolph and Nadine. She leaves to cherish her memory two sons; Samuel L. Ricks, Decatur, AL., Clarence Ricks, Russellville, AL., one granddaughter; Shanek Gardner (Tobricy) Madison, AL., three grandsons; Samuel D. Ricks (Sharonda) Trinity, AL., Christopher Ricks (Aleisha) Florence, AL., Diquian Ricks, Russellville, AL., five great grandsons, four great granddaughters, one sister-in-law; Rhodell Hill of Racine, WI., and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
