Mr. Tharon Thomas Harrison, 81, of Town Creek passed away on Tuesday morning, May 16th surrounded by family members. He was born October 29, 1935 in rural Colbert County, Alabama to Tharon and Melthel Connor Harrison. He attended Austinville High School in Decatur, Alabama and graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He proudly served in the U.S.  Marine Corps and the Alabama National Guard. He was a member of American Legion Post 237 Huntsville Alabama and he retired from the U.S. Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal in 1988. He attended the Town Creek United Methodist Church in Town Creek.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Sue Morgan Harrison, stepson Steve Bolling and a sister, Anna McClain. He is survived by his current wife, Sandra Bolling Harrison; sons, Charles Harrison (Lisa) and Tim Bolling (Sharon); daughters, Kimberly Harrison, Karen Harrison and Konnye Harrison (Robert); six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; brothers, Frank Harrison (Jane) and Donald Harrison; sister, Carolyn Parker (Charles).

Burial will be a private ceremony at the Reeves Family Cemetery in Hartselle, AL.
 

In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make a donation to the charity of your choice in Mr. Harrison's name.
