Robert H. "Meek" Locklayer

Robert Henry Locklayer III, was born January 8, 1947 to the late Robert and Lillie Mae Locklayer. On April 1, 2018 early Easter Sunday morning he left this earth with family at his bedside holding his hand and angels' arms wide open to receive him.

Robert has always had his own close and personal relationship with our Lord. He had a strong belief and faith. He served with the United States Army, and went to the Vietnam War at an early age. He was a well-loved veteran especially among the Veteran Administration Family. 

Robert leaves to cherish his memory; two brothers; Hillman Locklayer (Mattie) and David Locklayer (Ollie Mae); two sisters, Avis Bridgeforth (Bill) and Linda Watkins (Andrew). A host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
