Glense Jackson was born April 8, 1946 in Town Creek, AL to his parent; William, and Lila Thornton Jackson.  He departed this life on June 13, 2017 at Huntsville Hospital. 
He accepted Christ at an early age and joined Town Creek #2 Baptist Church.  He later joined Town Creek #1 Missionary Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one daughter, Angela Jackson Meade.
Glense enlisted in the United Stated Army at the age of seventeen, and was honorably discharged in 1969.  He was later employed by Champion International Paper, where he retired after 28 years of service.  He had a passion for cars, and a strong never-ending love for his family.
He leaves to cherish his memories a loving devoted wife, Rosie Stephenson Jackson of Trinity, AL; four sons, Derrick of Landersville, AL, Quincy of Alexandria, VA, Rhyne of Trinity, AL, Brian (Jessica) Jackson of Huntsville, AL; one brother, Lense (Cora) Jackson of Decatur, AL; one sister-in-law, Alethia Burgess of Moulton, AL; one aunt, Tiny Savage of New Jersey, seven grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
