Celebrate the homegoing for Edna Mae Reed who was called to her reward, Thursday, May 25, 2017. She was born to the union of the late Orange and Aggie Cooper, on September 07, 1934 in Town Creek Alabama.
Edna received Christ at an early age and joined Red Bank Missionary Baptist Church where she served on the Mother’s Board and remained until her homegoing.
She was preceded in death by her husband George Douglas Reed, her sister Lorene Turner, and her brothers Emmitt Turner, Leonard (Frances) Turner, Laymon (Patsy) Cooper and Orange Cooper, Jr.
Edna leaves to cherish her memory two daughters; Gail Jones and Kashana Reed both of Town Creek, AL, seven sons; Ronnie Cooper of Town Creek, AL, Jonathan (Annie) Cooper of Muscle Shoals, AL, Dennis (Tamara) Reed of Madison, AL, Durand (Pamela) Reed of Huntsville, AL, Ron (Valerie) Reed of Muscle Shoals, AL, Chauncey (Andrea) Reed of Woodbridge, VA, and Ethan (Selena) Reed of Maryville, TN. Two brothers; Onnie (Jeannie) Cooper of Muscle Shoals, AL, Willie Frank (Sylvia) Cooper of West Parish, LA, two sisters; Annie Turner of Boston, MA, and Willie Neva (Earl) King of Courtland, AL. Sixteen grandchildren; Nekeyea, Jevin, Denisha, Brandon, Yolanda, Kamaron, Keenya, Keana, Niya, Kena, Nash, Candace, Karly, Ashton, Gage, and Jabril. Six great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
