Beatrice Hood, 87, of Town Creek, the "Red Bank Community" died Friday, March 3rd at Florence Health and Rehabilitation Center. Her funeral will be Wednesday, March 8th at 12 noon at Red Bank Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Lymos McDonald officiating. Burial will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery. Public viewing will be Tuesday from 10-6 here at the funeral home followed by a family gathering from 6-7.

Beatrice was born July 26, 1929 in Town Creek, AL. to the late Cole Hood Sr. and Leanna Fonzy Hood.

She confessed a hope in Christ at an early age and joined Red Bank Missionary Baptist Church where she was a mother in the church and a member of the Missionary Society. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son; Thomas Green, grandson; Craig Garner, great grandson; Michael Langham, six brothers and four sisters.

She is survived by three daughters; Sueloise McCoy (Micheal) Leighton, AL, Linda Cal and Pamela Hood both of Town Creek, Al., three sons; Robert Robinson (Cynthia) Trinity, AL., Roger McCally (Anita) Town Creek, AL., Dwayne Davis, Madison, AL, three sisters; Irene Johnson, Muscle Shoals, AL., Della Mae Ashford, Courtland, AL., Elsie Wilson (Nathan) Cleveland, OH., sisters-in-law; Salley Hood and Rebecca Hood both of Town Creek, AL., and Linda Savage, Muscle Shoals, AL., 18 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
