Mr. Alfred Fuqua, 81, of Town Creek died Thursday, April 14th at ECM Hospital in Florence.  His funeral will be Wednesday, April 20th at 12:00 noon here at Jackson Memory.  Burial will follow in Dobbins Cemetery in Town Creek.  Public viewing will be Monday and Tuesday from 10-6 here at the funeral home.

Mr. Alfred Fuqua was born September 25, 1934 to the late Mary Etta Hampton and William Fuquq.  He was preceded in death by a brother, John T. Smith.  He is survived by one daughter, Evelyn G. Ricks, Leighton, AL, one sister, Hattie Sue Mitchell, Town Creek, AL, two grandchildren, Letigra S. Ricks and Deonna L. Ricks both of Leighton, AL, one great grandchild, Katigra L. Ricks, Leighton, AL, and a host of other relatives and friends.                              He accepted Christ at an early age and joined the Friendship Baptist Church, Town Creek, AL
